Restoring Glory in Philadelphia

The Bourse Philly is a food hall located in the heart of Philadelphia. With its close proximity to major tourist attractions, the site is packed with a diverse set of visitors daily.

Once the renovation of the site was complete, it was clear that there were too many blank white walls.

After meeting with the development team, we decided to create two murals and eye-catching way-findings for the bathrooms. We chose phrases with which visitors to Philadelphia can relate.

Along with these phrases, we incorporated the food hall’s social media handle and hashtag. Within the first few weeks, The Bourse Philly saw a massive boost in social media engagement.
Key Stats After Just Two Weeks

• #restoringglory spiked with new photos from customers.
• Six of the top 12 photos on were of the new murals.
• These six photos are responsible for over 1,000 likes
• These photos alone generated over 9,000 impressions
